K Leisure Awarded Four Quality Awards at National Award Ceremony
K Leisure and their facilities at Naas & Athy were honoured at the annual ILAM National White Flag Award ball in the Burlington on Friday 23rd October when each facility was awarded the White Flag for Leisure. In addition both facilities were shortlisted from over 100 leisure facilities nationwide to a shortlist of eight finalists in the Disability Provision Category – both facilities were each awarded a Silver Medal in this area, a huge achievement with only 3 facilities nationwide receiving a higher mark.
Both facilities in Athy and Naas were independently audited during 2009 in all areas of operation including, pool water quality, customer service, hygiene, pool lifeguarding arrangements, gym supervision to name a few. The White Flag Award is a national quality award that all leisure facilities must strive to achieve. The White Flag Award highlights to your customers, staff and the general public that your organisation is committed to achieving the highest standards of quality in the Leisure Industry.
Staff and management at both facilities were delighted with the achievement of the award after only a short time in operation and the future bodes well for each facility and their customers who must be delighted to see the obvious commitment to quality and service by staff and management of both facilities.
