K Leisure buildings and car parks are designed specifically to comply with and exceed all the requirements outlined by the regulations embracing the concept of universal access.

OPENING HOURS

Athy â€“ On weekdays the gym and pool are open between 06:00 and 21:00. On weekends the gym is open at 09:00, the pool at 10:00 and both are closed at 17:00. The changing rooms and building close 15 mins after the gym and pool are closed.

Naas â€“ On weekdays the gym and pool are open between 06:00 and 21:00. On weekends the gym is open at 09:00, the pool at 10:00 and both are closed at 17:00. The changing rooms and building close 15 mins after the gym and pool are closed.

Newbridge â€“ On weekdays the gym is open between 06:00 and 21:00. On weekends the gym is open at 09:00 and is closed at 16:30. The changing rooms and building close 15 mins after the gym is closed.

BOOK ONLINE, ANYTIME

With our online booking system and Apple and Android app, members and pay-as-you-go users can book classes and buy day passes anytime.

If you are a member, you will need the email address you provided on sign-up to log in. You need to link your membership account with an online account to use the booking system. Once linked, you can book classes, manage your membership, and use the app to access our clubs.

If you want to set up a guest online account to use the clubs on a pay-as-you-go basis, simply follow the link below, select buy membership and then choose Pay As You Go membership and create a free account. There is no fee to register with us. When you register, you need to confirm registration from the email we send you. That email has a link to complete the setup of your account. Using the app or online portal, you can go to the Shop page and buy day passes.

K Leisure buildings and car parks are designed specifically to comply with and exceed all the requirements outlined by the regulations embracing the concept of universal access.
Designated car parking spaces for people with disabilities are located adjacent to the main entrances to our buildings.
The car parks are constantly monitored to ensure that only people with official permits avail of these spaces.
Tactile paving and dropped kerbing is installed on all pedestrian approaches to the buildings.
The reception desks are constructed with staggered counter heights and also incorporate induction loops.
All our accessible toilets are fitted with alarm pull cords and safety hand rails.
Our dry side changing areas are fitted with low level showers and seats with an additional accessible toilet incorporating shower and change facilities.
Our wet side changing areas, sauna and steam rooms are fully accessible with individual, family and designated disability changing cubicles and shower rooms incorporated into the pool village change facilities. Low level large capacity lockers are provided for the dedicated usage of people with disabilities.

All our classes are fully accessible and group classes in our aerobics studio and swimming pools may be arranged upon request.

ACCESSIBLE GYM EQUIPMENT

All K Leisure staff are trained with respect to the provisions of the Children’s Act 2001 and have completed training in the Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children’s Sport as issued by the Irish Sports Council.
Accessible resistance and aerobic equipment designed by Technogym is provided in our gyms with an additional adapted treadmill for people with balance difficulties provided in our Naas gym.
Consultations may be booked with our fully trained staff members and an appropriate fitness program designed for individual needs.
Our swimming pools are equipped with a pool hoist and an attachable mobile shower chair or trolley is available for people with disabilities.
All signage is designed to cater for visually impaired users with a Braille component incorporated into designated area signs.
Our price lists and activity timetables are also available in Braille.
All of our documents are available in large print format using Plain English as standard.
We are operating a policy of continuous improvement with regard to the provision of services and are working closely with the National Disability Authority (NDA) to ensure that we meet the highest standards through ongoing staff training and self assessment programs.
We have received a number of awards since we opened in 2009 from organizations representing people with disabilities which are on display in our facilities.
